misterbonzoid I love all Rob Crow's work. Favorite track: Frame By Frame (King Crimson).

Dan Doucette The Rob Crow treatment....I love it! I gotta admit, I only knew one of these tunes (The Misfits) going in but I love this album! I'm sure Rob is doing these songs the way I want to hear them anyway. Been a fan since the Heavy Vegetable days. Definitely one of the most prolific and talented artists, Rob is also around my age and just seems like a really cool, down to earth guy. I was lucky enough to say hi to him after a Pinback show in Toronto. Favorite track: Praha In Spring (Ruins).

Noise Water Meat Rob Crow playing Powerdresser? I'd buy an entire album of that. Thanks Rob. Favorite track: My Equal Life (Powerdresser).

about

Nobody stuck on a life boat for weeks wants to hear another person, also stuck on the same life boat, complain about being hungry. Complainers get eaten first.

If you've ever heard my stupid name, it's probably because I make records and play shows. Unlike any real job, such as healthcare worker or educator, the only useful thing a person with my limited skills can do is attempt to create an environment of shared catharsis and good fucking luck with that!

As there are no shows for the foreseeable future, and all my own current songs run the risk of creating a depression echo chamber the no one needs right now, I thought it might be fun to utilize my current limitations and do an album of acoustic covers.

What started off as a hopefully pleasant distraction turned into an ever increasingly intricate thing that I hope holds some kinda lasting value to somebody, as I truly believe the only good unpolitical art to come from any of this will have no reference to the time in which it was made. Honestly, when this bullshit is over, I'm not gonna want to hear shit about it. Imagine going to back to look at some pathetic zoom session from this time two years from now?

So, as usual, much love, stay safe, and look out for each other!
Every responsible person in every box lined down every street is going though the same thing. None of us are special, aside from the healthcare workers and educators, of course.
Those people are amazing.

Your Pal,
Rob C.
